Bryan K . Smith
Bryan Smith is a self-trained artist who began his career in oils, at the age of only nineteen. From the first time he picked up a brush his natural talent was obvious. Beginning in the art festival circuit his career quickly advanced. He soon opened his own gallery in St. Augustine, Florida. After a decade of working as a successful owner and director in his own gallery, he relocated to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
Currently his originals may be found in prestigious galleries of the Southeast. He has won over sixty awards during his career of some thirty years and his works of art may be found in the collections of homes and corporations throughout the U.S. and internationally. His landscapes focus primarily on the rich beauty that surrounds and inspires him at home and abroad.
A hallmark of Bryan's work is the detailed realism he is able to capture in oil and watercolor. His atwork is often mistaken for photography at first glance.
